2014 explorer PI 3.5 ecoboost p0131 p0016

Hello everyone. To make my story short- started to drive yesterday and after 50 meters got the check engine light. Scanned for codes and see 3 p0131 and 1 p0016 errors. Cleared them and drove a bit. Today started the car same issue, codes came back. Car is 3.5 twin turbo PI 121K miles.
Water pump is leaking just a little bit already.Could it be related? Engine is working normally no noise or rattle or any other sympthoms. Fuel consumption is a bit higher though. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

According to this article, the condition is "Severe". P0131 - Meaning, Causes, Symptoms, & Fixes | FIXD Automotive I was not able to find that code in any posts on the s forum. There are several threads on P0016. P0016 - Meaning, Causes, Symptoms, & Fixes | FIXD Automotive
If there is an issue with the water pump then P0016 might have to do with the timing chain. In either case, it's bad news and should be addressed ASAP. Check the oil on the dipstick for possible contamination. Water pump failure leads to dead engine

Thank you for your reslonse. I figured its a big issue. Taking it to my friends shop across the street tomorrow. Will drop off the engine replace the water pump and look ar the chain.

I believe everyone that has replaced the pump also automatically replaced the chain while everything was apart. Good luck.

May I ask where/when you bought this? I had the same issue with my 2014 PI.
