Hello all!
I have been having problems with the rear brake pins, the ones with the rubber tips. I do use the proper silicone type slider grease. For some reason those pins all ways start jamming up. Even right after cleaning them up and greasing them. I have tried to use a little and a lot of grease, but no change. I have replaced the pins and no luck. I also reemed out the bracket that receive the pins, just to make sure they are clean.
I know that those pins are supossed to be for anti vibration. Does anyone know if it is okay to replace the rubber ended pins (top) with the same type as the bottom as the ones? Would anyone know what would be the outcome? On the bench with all the same none rubber pins it seems like it would work just fine.
Any help or answers are welcome.
Thank you.
