2015 Police Explorer
I've got a 2015 ford police explorer. I put in a center console from a normal ford explorer, not sure what trim, and everything's working great. Wired up the power so the two rear (one inside the lid, one on the back, no power inverter) power points are ignition 20A, and the front one is always hot 20A. Also got the aux port wired up with the OEM harness from the center console.

I'm looking to add some sort of panel into that shift spot, not just a filler slot that can hold items. Looking for something flush that can sit inside of that little area and provide a spot for mounting some switches.
Just curious if anyone's seen something like this or if anyone's got dimensions to be able to 3d print my own for testing and eventually get a higher quality one made.

Thanks!

I make these as well as a bunch of other parts for installing Explorer consoles. I make pockets, and one that as a modular phone holder. I can also make a custom panel if you want to mount switches. If you have the AUX steering wheel I would recommend using those for switches as its a much cleaner look. Whatever option you go with (mine or other) Make sure it's made of a good heat/UV resistant plastic. PLA and PETG are two of the most common materials 3D printers use but they just don't hold up to the heat and end up warping and splitting. I use a carbon fiber-reinforced polycarbonate. It's more expensive but it's the same plastic airplane windows are made from.

Here is the link for the filler pocket.
