2015 Explorer XLT Sun Visor Features

Just got my 2015 Explorer this past Friday! At the risk of seeming oblivious, can anyone tell me what the clip on the sun visors are for and also why the corners bend on both driver and passenger visors?

The clip is for toll tickets or what ever you want to put there! I use it to hold my ID for entry onto the military base I work on. The ends bend to block out more light when you adjust them!

The bend also allows them to sit more flush when flipped up (not in use)
