Quick Tips

Place jack stand under the control arm so it compresses makes removal and install easier
Buy OEM shock and upper insulator they are separate part numbers.
DONT RELEASE CABLE COMPRESSING NEW SHOCK UNTILL IN THE UPPER MOUNT HOLE.
-if u do u can compress it with some muscle
upper mount nut torque 45FT LBS
lower bolt 125FT LBS

Passenger side upper nut removal drop an 18MM on the nut and use 8MM DEEP SOCKET to loosen from the HEX shaft. When you loosen from HEX shaft its clock wise to remove.

Driver side use the OPEN END and grab it from 60 degree and 8MM DEEP SOCKET to loosen from the HEX shaft. When you loosen from HEX shaft its RIGHT turn to remove. OR USE CROW

Once you break loose the upper nuts you can remove with impact…don’t drop them into the wheel wells!!!! I dropped my 18 wrench down there luckily magnet was in reach to remove.. 😊
