- 2020 Explorer XLT 202A
Long story short, I needed to make a quick deal on an Explorer in January. I wanted a Limited, but the only Limiteds in the area had options and/or colors I didn't want, but there was a well-equipped XLT that had almost everything I was looking for, even heated 2nd-row captain's chairs...and the assembly quality was - and is - flawless. So I leased it. And it's been 100% trouble-free and solid since day one.
Then I noticed that it had no turn signals on the mirrors.
Even the most recent Order Guide clearly states that turn signal mirrors are standard on all XLT models, not to mention that my XLT has the $5000 202A package.
I don't like to cause trouble, but I sure would like Ford to explain to me why a $47,000 SUV has no turn signal mirrors when even the most basic Hyundai Elantra does, especially when Ford's own order guide *still* says that it does.
