2025 ST-Line rear hatch is fickle

2025 New ST-Line....when using the "Under the R" button, the hatch sometimes does not respond, however if I fiddle with using the fob to unlock the whole car, it works.
Anyone else experience this?

I had it happen once to me, it opened but just a little bit. I wasn't sure if maybe it pushed the button to long or it thought it was a double press. Hasn't happened since though, I'm thinking it was a fluke. Does it happen to you all the time?
