24lb injectors

Does anyone know where to find 24lb injectors for the 5.0 Explorer? Are there any part #'s or brands you could recommend? Do you use the same ones that would go in a 87-93 GT or Cobrs or 94-98 5.0? Need help because when I search for them by vehicle I only get the stock 19lbs.

I don't know why you wouldn't use the same ones as the 5.0 mustangs. Do a parts search to be sure though. Search for the 5.0 mustangs and compare the part numbers for the ones that come up for the X (both will be 19lbs.). If the #'s are the same, then the mounting and connectors are the same and aftermarket or ford 24lbs injectors should work fine.

He is getting ready to install a suppercharger, 19lb injectors won't keep up.

Because of my build I have been told that on my 351W if I upeed the fuel PSI a bit that 19lb injectors might work for me..... I'll just start the project off with 24lb and avoid the might.

I didn't say he should use 19lbs injectors, just that if they are the same that any larger injectors for the mustangs should fit and function.

Yes I`d check online,I always go to summitracing.com with alot of questions on parts, most stang parts are the same and they carry a crapload of stuff, also try mustangsunlimited, they also know all this stuff and carry all of it.
Just call either of them or email their tech geeks and they know everything!
what they do not know they find right out and tell you.
and read a.hodges build on the 2nd page of this forum,he`s putting a blower on a 5.0 stroker in an explorer. greg

Dam, I don't know how I got the impression that he was looking for a factory application that used a compatable 24lb injectors.... Probably wishful thinking on my part
