Is most likely your DPFE sensor, trust me most all the 01/02 tracs are having the same problem

We tryed that. Any other ideas
Did you clear the codes after the new DPFE install?
In this pic see the large rubber Elbow, ck it carefully for cracks, is another common problem that will throw 0171/0175 codes
Is located on the pass side front

I already checked and I didn't see no cracks....what esle could it be?

All those codes point to the EGR/DPFE system, if your under 60K miles ford has extended the warranty on them, good luck

P0171 and P0174 indicates that there is air getting in after the air flow sensor. Check for loose or broken vac lines.

0171 and 0174 were common in the earlier 4.0's. The solution was to replace the intake gaskets.

Some one else may be able to say if Ford fixed the intake gasket problem for the 2001. I am not sure.

how much is the intake gasket? and is it easy to replace...like can I do it myself?

I think I paid about 25-30 dollars for upper and lower intake gaskets. It was pretty easy to do. I think it took me about an hour. I would recomend getting a repair manual to assist you.

can I buy it at autozone?

The manual you should be able to get at Autozone. The gaskets are probably a dealer item.

WHY are we DIY fixing an emissions related code in a vehicle under warranty? Am I missing something here ?
