Here's a link for some headers from 4wheelparts.com:

I think Alec put some on his ride. He had already opened up the intake and exhaust with aftermarket options. Maybe those would be better first steps. Anyway, from what I remember he also lost a lot of low-end torque. Another comment was the headers were a good step before the SuperCharger as they allowed the engine to exhale quickly and easily.
I would love to put some on my truck, but I don't get the chance to drive mine in high RPM's for any duration of time, where bigger headers would pay off.
Hmmmmm. I wonder if I got some bigger gears to help with the low end......headers to help with high RPM ponies.....hmmmmm......

Karl is correct, I think. Headers are definately not the mod to do as 'just another' performance mod. You should probably have hi-flow intake (not just replacement filter) and exhaust. Maybe throttle body and computer upgrade too. The headers most likely will reduce your low end torque, off the line power, stump pulling power, etc; while they increase highway passing power. If you don't often need to accelerate from 60 to 90 mph, headers aren't for you. Plain and simple. Besides their cost to power benefit ratio isn't that great.

I dunno what brand those headers are at 4wheelparts. I have JBA ceramic coated headers which were about 2.5x that price. They're the best units around and have suited me very well. Pacesetter headers are cheap, but suck. BBK headers aren't that bad. Borla headers are good, but aren't coated so they leak a lot of heat. You'll want to get ceramic coated headers. If you don't, whatever gains you see in airflow are counteracted with the heat created.

Ok, it's late and I'm rambling. Good luck!

Ive got some BBK's and I like em so far as far as metal tubes go. But I hardly saw any gains. It was about my last mod and I think I picked up less than 5hp. So... do other stuff first... :)

thanks for the info! I have the free flow intake ordered from the group buy and I am taking off my 3 inch glass pack exhaust to put on a flowmaster. still trying to decide what size to go with the 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 and if to get the 2 1/4 in and out that flowmaster says is for the 4.0 or go with a 2 1/2 flowmaster. any help would be great!
