It seems that everyone with a SOHC has some decent options for performance parts, and us OHV guys get screwed. Im looking for the ranger guys and 91-94 guys with the OHV to pop in and give some ideas for building the OHV?

Go to a website called The Ranger Station. They have lots of tips for the 4.0L OHV. Comp Cams makes a decent RV cam for it. www.therangerstation.com

there has to be some guys with the OHV over here with some tips. If it makes a difference, the Emissions on my engine is gone and the truck is no longer street legal.

I guess Ill add what Im looking for. My 2000 Ranger is no longer a street driven vehicle. The emissions are being removed and the truck will be trailered everywhere. I would love to retain the Stock 4.0 and just give it some go. Im trying to stay away from an electric fan/underdrive pulleys, since most of my wheeling is slow, I like the reliabilty of the clutch fan and have the underdrive pulley makes it turn slower, if I understand the UDP right? I was thinking Cam, Headwork, throttle body and MAF sensor. Now Im not looking to jsut buy stuff off the shelf as that gets pricey. Obviously a cam will have to be bought like that, but I know I have seen bigger MAF sensors used from other ford vehicles, just dont know where, and that some guys have moded Throttle bodies too.
