4.0L Valve Spring Compressor Ideas Needed

Can anyone please share ideas on how to compress valve springs on a 2002 4.0L without purchasing the out-of-sight costly ford or otc specialty compression tool?

Does Autozone, Advance Auto or any of the other supply stores in your area "rent" a comparable tool? Many have had luck with more expensive items.
