'07 Sport Trac 4.6 4x4
Im only finding threads from 2011 and older on this topic. I have an exhaust leak on my 07 Sport Trac 4.6 and was thinking of going aftermarket if Ford units just warp. Is there any kind of aftermarket headers of any kind for the 4.6 Explorer Sport Trac?

I did a quick Ebay search, only thing that turned up is stuff for 3V Mustangs.

Assuming that clearance exists elsewhere then they will bolt right up to the engine no problem. But because they are made for '05-'10 Mustangs, you may need to do some work with the midpipe to get it bolted up to them.

Maybe they exist elsewhere (I'd be surprised if they didn't) but generally speaking if you can't even find it on Ebay then your chances of finding elsewhere are slim. Also consider cost ($300+) plus whatever you gotta do to get everything bolted up, for a net gain of about 5hp.

I looked at GT headers as an option. Two big differences, 1) Sport Trac manifolds are longer, 2) Sport Trac manifolds dont angle down as much as a GT. The angle may have to do with the differences in firewall placement. As far as length im not sure. Its possible that with some cut and patch style welding an exhaust shop could make GT manifolds work, with or without the stock cats. Im just not brave enough to be the pioneer to try. But if it did work we may be able to push a company like Pypes to make the mid-pipe section to fit it
