WTF... haha i have shackles T.T. 32/11.50 15's for the most part everything else is stock. other than K&n nd crap like that. oh nd a flowmaster and aftermarket Cat. magnaflow. its a V6 so im not expecting great but damn better than 10-12 mpg
its not even a CAI just a filter... and honestly for as long as i can remember it had shi**y mileage which is one reason why i installed aftermarket converter my old was.....FU*kED
did you do the usual tune up stuff, plugs wires and cleaning the intake parts ?
mine had bad economy when i got it, the idle air control was dirty pretty bad,,
everything is spotless... throttle body, plugs, wires, clean IAC valve, full intake tube cleaning all OEM equipment (i am a toyota tech that shares a service dept. with FORD) etc. etc. baffled?!

yes,i think the idle air control can affect the way your Explorer runs a fair bit,, the computer could see a lean condition and fatten up the mixture too much,,
No reading bad O2 sensors are famous for our explorers. You should check and make sure your 02 sensors are in good working order. Check them for proper in and out voltage and make sure they are within spec.
