Can anyone help? I have a 96 Explorer that will not go into 4-hi unless I am in Park. It will not engage on the fly. When I try, I get the flashing 4hi/4low lights on the dash. I replaced the gem but still having the same problem. I cleaned the speed sensors and still the same problem. Often when I do start out in 4Hi from Park, it will work fine showing a steady 4Hi dash light, but after about 10 minutes or so, the lights will start flashing. It is still in 4hi from my testing. It goes out of 4hi properly when switching back to 2Hi. 4Low works as it is supposed to.
