I've got a couple of problems I thought I would ask about.. First the 4wd system. I switch from 2wd to 4wd auto and the 4wd light comes on. But a few seconds later both the 4wd and 4wd low lights start blinking about 6 times then both lights go out.. If I switch to 4wd low I hear the clunk of the transfer case switching but I still think there is no power going to the front wheels.. Could it be a speed sensor or the auto hubs not working? is there a way to check?

Next the A/C system.. Works fine in MAX A/C but if I switch to just normal all I get is hot air.. I think there is a problem with the blend door because the heat control nob doesn't change anything.. Does this sound like it could be the problem or does anybody else have an idea what it could be??

The ABS Light is on all the time.. I believe it happened after the brakes were replaced.. Is there a way to reset the ABS System to see what happens or a way to diagnose this system..

Thanks in advance I know this message is a little bigger than normal but I just wanted to get everything out..

Oh by the way my truck just hit 102,000 miles and the intermediate band broke and I lost my second gear.. Sucks to be me.. ended up costing me 1506 to get repaired.. Hope I didn't get hosed. Does this sound like a good price and is their anything I should be watching for???

Welcome to the site....

Your 4x4 problem is either a faulty speed sensor (may just need to be cleaned) or the GEM. Your ABS problem may also affect (not sure if the Control trac system uses input from the ABS sensors too). If you hear the clunk when switch to 4Lo, you should be ok and should get power to the front end. If you didn't hear the clunk, then I'd say you have a t/c problem.

#2 - your blend door is busted. ~$800 fix, although some have jerry rigged it to work. Search for "Actuator" or "Blend Door"

#3 - Could be one of the sensors was not replaced properly or has gone bad. There is also a computer module I believe that can go bad. Search for ABS and you'll find lots of threads with better info.
