My 4WD LOW light (on the button, not the display) started flashing on two separate occasions. Not knowing that the deal was, I simply pressed the 4WD Auto button and the flashing light went away, not to return. No change in handling (it didn't feel like the 4WD was trying to engage) and no lights on the display.
Dealership said that it was the rear transfer case beginning to go, and would eventually need to be addressed to the tune of $2500-3000.
Any opinions or advice on the issue would be appreciated.
Thanks!
