4wd selector switch doesn't light and transfer case won't change 93xlt X

93 x xlt does not do anything when you push dash buttons for 4 lo or 4 hi does not light up or sift , any one know a good places to start on this problem,or good link if it's all ready posted on forums . Thanks FOR ANY HELP. :roll:

first check the fuses.

then i`ll try to engage to 4wd low which if it the same as second genaration explorer go to newtral push the brakes hard and turn the switch to 4wd low.

if you it locks to 4wd low that mean is working just the light it may burn.

Welcome to the site... Your problem has been discussed many times and most often occurs due to a problem within the electronic shift motor connected to the transfer case... Take a peek at the following threads:

Thanks for reply and links in forums, figured it had been talk about a lot before ,I will try to check things out this weekend .
