I've got a 94 Explorer Eddie Bauer and last week there was snow for most of the week. The four wheel drive worked fine for a week or so, and then last Saturday it wouldn't engage 4 hi or lo. I'm not sure if it is still in 4 hi or not. The lights on the dash don't light up at all. I unplugged the two plugs from the computer by the spare tire jack and the red light flashed when I turned on the ignition. I'm not sure if the front axles are turning, but the auto hubs move on the outside of the wheels when the car is in drive. When I select 4 hi, the engine rpms drop slightly and there is a clicking noise, but the light never comes on on the dash. Any help would be appreciated because I need to get the truck ready for a ski trip in January to Colorado and don't want any problems.
