5.0L in a '99 explorer

I have a '99 explorer XLT with the 4.0L SOHC, can anyone tell me what parts I would need to install a 5.0L, can I used the same transmission? Any help would be appriciated.

Best bet is to get a wrecked ex. You will need a lot of parts, computer sensors......ect.

Check craigslist, I bought an entire wrecked 1997 5.0L for $450, sold off parts I didn't need for hundreds MORE than I paid for the whole thing.
