50 series to 40 series

i got the 50 series set-up exhaust . i like it but i thougth it owuld be louder so i want to get the 40 series delta and put it on my system now. Now the 40 series is about 4 in smaller, so how could i go about making it fit?

just go to your local exhaust shop and get an extension, get them to flare it on the inlet side and reduced it on the exiting side, maybe $5
