5r55e parts in the transmission pan

When changing the transmission fluid in a 5r55e. I had 3 small pieces of metal in the pan. Small round and flat on top and bottom.

Any idea where they could have come from in the transmission?

This is normal it's spacers from the original cork gasket so you don't over tighten it throw them away

Thanks, Donalds didn't know that they put spacers in the gasket. First time change transmission fluid.

First time? How many miles?

Do yourself a favor and change your fluid every 30k, 50k tops. Your transmission will last a lot longer with clean fluid.
