5r55w Intermediate band help, removing anchor strut and center support.

Im to the point in my band replacement on my 2002 explorer that the
tranny is out.
pump off.
coast clutch out.

1.) Im at the Anchor strut (servo side). Is this just placed in there without any fasteners. I tried to pull on it and its on servo shaft pretty tight, should I just pull on it harder.

2.)Do I have to take out off the pan, solenod body and valve body to get at the centre support bolt. shown here as item 783

Loosen the band adjustment stud. The valve body needs to be removed in order to remove the Allen head bolt which holds the center support.

Thanks again, man (I swiped that link from you anyway). Well its gonna be a little more work than I thought.

Here's where Im at, the band is off completely. Looks like just needs a little I can see the threads to the support hex....
