Just bought an 02 4.0 4wd Exp with trans problems I expect the worse but hope for the best.I have read through several pages on this site (very informative)but mine seems to be a little different it seem to be the 1st to 2nd shift that is the problem.If you take off very slowly it will shift fine all the way through the gears fine but if you take off abruptly it will hold in first and you have to let off the gas to get it to shift and it will shift very hard.The od off light will flash and it will shift hard untill you shut it off and start it back.The ses light is on but havent retrieved the codes yet.Any help would be greatly appreciated and I hope one day I can help one of you.
