Hi all,
I have a 7000 head unit and one of the little teeth on the back of the anti-theft protection panel has broken off. I'd be quite happy to do a solder repair, but it's plastic behind the metal contact.
Does anyone know if I can simply buy another anti-theft panel from a breakers yard and use that? My gut reaction would be no, but any thoughts from someone more knowledgeable would be much appreciated. I'd prefer not to have to replace the whole unit!
Thanks,
Adrian.
