I just finished the plugs and coils. I can't believe how easy it is, it took about 2 hrs.
I decided to change everything since there was a misfire on #8 and it's just over 87,000 miles on the clock.
I TTA and I believe that is plenty tight to prevent a blowout. Time will tell and it runs great again.
When I pulled the #8 coil out, it was a little wet and the end had a white greasy coating. It isn't oil or antifreeze, it was just water. I think the boot allowed water to seep in and the dielectric grease oozed. The tip of the plug was rusted and this combination was the cause of the misfire.
I'll post a pic of the coil, but the white grease dried up while I was finishing the rest of the job. Now it flakes off.
The spring is sticking out because I pulled the boot off.
