I've got an 89 ranger with a 3.1liter engine. The speedometer stopped working but the odometer is working fine. I've always thought that both were controlled by the speedometer cable and that both would stop working at the same time. Since just the speedometer isn't working does that mean the speedometer cable is ok and that something else is causing my speedometer not to work? I'm at a loss. If anyone could help me out, thanks in advance.
