I've been browsing some Prerunner sites in my continuing quest for better suspension..I hear Ford sells a stock radius arm bracket kit that came on the 1989 Ranger 4x4 STX. You can buy them for about $60.00 from the dealer and they lower the pivot point down about an inch from stock.

Is this better than the stock 1991-94 Explorer RA Brackets or its the same thing? Anyone tried this or it only works with Rangers? Prerunner Rangers seem to get an improved arc with this..and improved travel. I only wanna go 1-2" up in front just for longer travel springs..so if they do drop 1"..thatd help my alignment too.

eh

wow maybe this is an original idea..noone knows?

I suppose as long as they mount fine etc...and ya get 2in lift springs....I see no reason why they wouldn't work. But this is speculation, as I have never heard of it being done.

It should work just fine. A '93 Ranger front suspension is virtually identical to a '93 Explorer - and I believe the Ranger suspension was the same from '83 to '97.
