91 3.0 liter Std trans help?

Wondering what the towing capacity of the vehicle is? It's a 91 3.0l V6 4X4 with a standard trans.. rearend is blown but the body is flawless and the truck is going cheap, but i've also got a 91 explorer with a good 4.0l motor and rearend but rotten body. Is it possible to swap the rearend & motor from the explorer into the ranger without complications? I tow a 3000lb travel trailer (2550 lbs dry) and would also like to carry approximately 400 lbs of gear in the back (1 dirtbike + fuel) of the ranger. I don't mind adding some add-a leafs and getting good shocks if the truck will take it. Any thoughts?

sounds ok use an auto tranny u need wiring harness and computer from donor truck also check the door tag make sure axle code is the same
