my 91 explorer has a ford factory alarm system in it that i think may have a problem. The alarm box under dash is making a clicking sound and nothing in the truck works. No lights ,no power windws no nothing but when I unplug one of the wires from this box I get all the power back but truck still will not start. Should alarm be disconnected and if so how? I think this alarm disables starter but not sure ,alarm was already there when I got truck.I would appreciate any advice. Thanks
