- '92 Eddie Bower
First of all I like the support that you give for the troops. Being a Veteran of the US Army I thank you. Well I have a 92 Eddie Bower. The truck runs however it seems the automatic transmission is having trouble. Sometimes at Interstate speeds the trans will slip out of gear when it tries to hit passing gear, I let my foot off the gas and it slips right back in. When driving the selector in any gear OD,D,2,1 I let my foot of the gas and the trans seems to slip into N. The tachometer goes down to Idle. When I press the gas again it catches back up and slips back into gear. Also I noticed when on the highway travleing at about 55 there is no difference in being in D or OD. Seems the overdrive is not working. Do I have a torque converter problem or maybe need to replace the tranny?
