Hi all,

More likely than not this has been addressed somewhere but I can't seem to find the information.

So I've got me a 92 explorer, and some of the hoses just desintegrated while I was doing some minor work (changing spark plugs, cleaning engine, etc). In short these hoses are the very thin ones that are tied on the very far end of the compartment:

Seems like one of the tiny hoses is connected to the "vacuum distribution block"(?).

I also ended up with the plastic tee on my hand, the rubber hoses attached to it just desintegrated.

So question is... What are these hoses connected to? I'll be replacing them with silicone I guess, just want to make sure I know where they should be going.

I appreciate the input!

Welcome to the forum!
Those are vacuum lines, there should be a vacuum diagram on a sticker near your radiator.

Go with silicone, you won't have to touch them again.

Where do you guys purchased replacement silicone vacuum hoses for the Explorer? Are there different sizes?

See the thread in my signature, it explains all.
