92 XLT Dome/courtesy lights constantly on.

Hello to all of you. I have owned my XLT for 4 years and it has been great till recently. For some reason all the interior lights stay on. I have checked the door switches and everything I can think of. By pushing in the door switches the lights dim slightly but stay on. I have turned to removing all the door lights and dome lights (front and rear). I needed my XM radio. ) If anyone has had or has any remody please let me know. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.Sounds like maybe a short in your headlight switch,keeping them turned on.If not must be one of the door switches shorted keeping the circut closed.
