goes into 1st and that is all. I pulled pan and fluid was pretty bad. good new ( I would think good news ) no metal.
will not upshift, won't go reverse either, although it tries. I'm guessing my next move is to replace modulator that had oil in vacumn line, and maybe a flush.
Before I do these things, I was hoping someone could help me avoid unnecessary $$. Could the bed modulator really keep from shifting at all, in combination with some pretty stale looking fluid, or is it time to pull the trans??
