93 flywheel stuck

Hi guys
well i have another problem that I just found out lately... it seems my car wouldn't start and I changed the starter, starter relay, battery, alternator, and battery cables. The car wouldn't turn over it would just click. Well after turning the engine with a socket the car would crank and suddenly stop. we took out the starter and looked at the fly wheel. While cranking the engine with a socket the flywheel would get stuck at the same exact place everytime we tried to turn it and couldn't get it to get past the spot. My dad says its a bent rod or a bent valve. But I was wondering if anyone had this same problem. I have no problem tearing the engine open I just want to know what to expect when opening the engine. Plugs are out?

If you are getting caught up in the SAME spot everytime, you have broken something big inside.

To check if it is a Valve, I would pull the valve covers, and see if one one of the valves are stuck open...

Thanks ryan... I'm guessing its a stuck valve or rod but worst case scenario is a blown piston ring or something crazy like that... thanks again

Or a torque converter bolt backed out...

Can you reverse it to the exact same spot? Just curious. If so, I'd be looking into tearing down the engine, and before I did that, I'd be looking for a parts truck with a running motor...

In reverse it can spin all the way around with some stick to it... I looked at all the torque convertor bolts that mount to the flywheel and they are all in
