Came back onto the forum scene..

Picked up a 1994 Limited for a winter truck/tow rig.

Did some fluid changes etc.

Truck was running well for the first two weeks or so, but now, after its warmed up, it bogs out on the highway. Like, I have to rev it up to get it going. It isnt the transmission. The truck almost acts like its going to stall, as if its choking. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Should be around 35 psi. Check for raw gas in the vacuum line on the back side of the pressure regulator. If it's wet the regulator is bad. Fuel filter, spark plugs and wires are also suspect. Listen for the fuel pump whine when you try to start it to make sure it's running. Look around for vacuum leaks. Let us know what you find out.

sounds like a cloged fuel filter, its on the left side frame rail up near the engine
