94 Ranger, 4 cylinder SOHC won't start.

HELP! Engine cranks, no start. This started out as intermittent: when engine was warm and shut off, would not start, like it would fire, but immediately stall. After 20 to 30 minutes it would start and run. Now just cranks, no fire.

-Have checked, and have spark.
-With key on, no response from fuel pump. Check engine light is on.

Please help, this is my only mode of transportation.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread to the Ranger section. Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key? Do you see a check engine light when you turn the key?

I had a similar problem with mine. I took it in to a garage and all that was wrong was the computer relay. I got it start once by tapping on all the relays with a screwdriver. At the time I did not relieze that it helped. It was like it wasn't getting gas.They are under the hood. Good luck on finding the problem.

sorry just reliezed that you seemed to be having a fuel pump problem.If you don't hear the pump.
