94 XLT- IS THERE A BYPASS TO KEYLESS ENTRY ANTI THEFT

Hello,

This may seem like a really stupid question, but it is something that I have never dealt with.

My truck will not start unless I hit the unlock button on my keyless entry pad, I find this very annoying.
I like the keyless entry, but hate this option. Is there any way to disable this feature?

Also, is there any way to manually disable the anti start mech, should the remote become disabled in any way (battery etc).

i dont know about shutting of the starter interrupt but , there is a button under the dash that will allow you to start it. when i got my 93 teh remote didnt work and you had to hit it to start it...i have since disabled that button so i am sol if i lose teh remote.
