I have a 95 4x4 xlt with rear disc. When I was rotating the tires today, I noticed the rear pads are pretty low. The rear pads and parking brake shoes were replaced by a shop about 30-40k ago. I had to pay someone to do it since my wife was on the road with the truck when the rear pads started squealing.
My question... do I need any special tools to do the rear pads? I don't plan on replacing the parking brake pads as I'm sure they are still good. I've done lots of front pads, so I have necessary sockets and channel locks for that. Just need to know if there is anything different about the rears.
thanks.
