[hey everyone, i recently purchased a '95 explorer for my first car and i am wondering if you have any mod suggestions? may it be performance wise or interior/exterior. i have been doing some researching and have decided to most likely get a flowmaster super 44 muffler installed here soon. if theres any other exhaust or muffler ideas that you feel is better, plz feel free to let me know. I am also thinking about a cheap or custom made cold air intake, like a MAC or a KKM intake. The problem is, i can never find intakes that fit a specifically '95 model...im not sure if the intakes from other years like 90-94 or 96-01 will fit so hopefully you guys can help me out. plus im gonna buy an amsoil nanofiber air filter to go along with it. May it be money wise, i just mite make my own intake out of pvc or abs somehow...idk?? For wheels and tires, i want to get cragar soft 8's(15x8?) on maybe some dunlop mud rovers, yokahoma, or bfg M/T tires (31x10.50x15)...i think i could clear them with out any modification since my stock tires are not much smaller(235/75R15). like i said i am open to any suggestions you may have about anything.

Thanks,

The muffler and intake are a good idea. Fitting 31s with no suspension modification is possible with some trimming, it would be just as easy to tighten your torsion bars and add some warrior shackles in the rear. Bfgs are really nice tires, but i got my pro comps on sale from 4wheelparts.com last august and they do really well in snow and mud, and they handle well on the road. Search forums on here about lifting your explorer and you'll learn a lot. These folks on here helped me out a lot when i lifted mine.
