Hi Guys, new to the site,

I have a 95 explorer Eddie Bauer, it is my personal vehicle and spend most of my time in the work truck, so my budget for this repair is low, I am not looking for anything high performance just a working radio. It has stopped working, no display, ant stuck up, no sound, just dead. I have checked all fuses, pulled the radio and see nothing funky, no smells either. Does anyone have wiring info for this, I'd put an aftermarket radio in but there is something about the factory subwoofer that prevents an easy swap(or so the radio shop tell me), anyone have wiring diagrams of this yr and model audio sys??? It is am/fm/cass. I can buy a used radio for 30 bucks locally and upgrade to cd for 50 but don't want to do either until I'm sure it's the head. Any thoughts????

Second issue is a/c related, I think it's the blendor motor, it bolts into the top of the A/c box behing the glove box, there is a really loud clicking noise coming from it and it will not regulate anything, for now it is unplugged( I couldn't take the noise anymore) thus I have no heat, I guess the default is max cold. Again a part I can get cheap used, but am not certain thats it, anyone have either of these issues and info on repairs of either I'd appreciate the help.

I will give you mine. It is AM/FM/Cass. I took it out about a year ago because my kids got me a radio for Christmas. I took out the radio and the amp in the rear of the truck. You have to remove the panel over the passenger side rear wheel to get to it though.

Here is a link for the wiring in the dash. http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/stereodetail/859.html

I took out the amp because I wanted to use the factory speakers and skip the amp. I hooked the wires from the new radio by the chart at The12Vold.com and cut the connectors that went into and out of the amp in the back. I connected the colors from the dash wires to the colors of the wires on the speakers. Now my after market radio plays on my factory speakers bypassing the factory amp.

Anyway I will give you the radio if you want it. I have no use for it. Contact me and we can work out the shipping. You pay actual shipping cost and I will send it to you.

Thanks for the offer, pm me your zip code and I'll figure out UPS or USPS charges and I'll see if it's not just cheaper, (my money & your time) to grab the used one locally. Also thanks for the link it should be helpful.
