95 ranger convert manual to automatic transmiision

hey guys, Can anyone give some direction on converting a 95 ford ranger 5 spd maual trans to a automatic? my son is tired of shifting and wants me to change it. If anyone can help i will be thankful. 1995 ranger v-6 3.LT, super cab 2 wheel dr.

Which engine does it have, 2.3, 3.0, or 4.0?

1995 ford ranger 3.L super cab 2wheel drive

i have the small v-6 3.L super cab 2 wheel drive.

You would have to find another vehicle with the 3.0 and an automatic behind it to do the swap, the 3.0 does not share trannys with anything else.
Might be easier to just get a different truck!
