My 1996 V8 Explorer starts cold in the morning with a few cranks then idles for a second, then dies, or comes very close to dying. It was pulling a primary coil malfunction code a few weeks ago, but it never hindered performance, then this just started this week. I'm thinking it could be bad gas maybe settling in the injectors or cylinders at start up and once burned off, runs fine, but after this tank, if it doesnt go away, what would cause this ?
