i got a 96 explorer awd with a new tranny from ford and rebuilt transfercase. while driving down the interstate above 65 mph for a distance,maybe 30 miles tops. my car out of no where just a little jolt and the rpms are reving up, i have no gear now. i let off the gas and a second later you can feel it grab a gear(i think its 4th) and then catch overdrive. i keep driving and there it goes again no gear and im reving up. it does this all the way to my destination. around town its perfect good pulling truck, BUT on the highway it looses gear then catches gear over and over. what could this be? please help?
