96 Exp. 5.0 were there 2 different types of exhaust manifolds?

I have a 96 5 litre explorer XLT The classic passenger side exhaust manifold requires replacement. Tick, tick, then goes away after truck warns up!!Found them cheap on eBay however the pics look slightly different then mine?? Says it will fit but there is a small tube with threads on it growing out of the aftermarket one. Mine, from what I can see through wheel well and underneath ,does not look like it has that little tube?

Other then that it looks identical!! My stock manifold an identical match with the exception of that tube

Any advise?? Thanks in advance

Its for the later external egr, and it will be fine with a brass cap on it if it doesn't come with one already,

Makes sense now!! Addition exhaust port for EGR which my year was designed without that addition exhaust port. Been a great little work truck for me!! With only 90,000 original miles she's got lots of life left. Just have to tackle the leaking "valve cover gaskets" after this little exhaust project!! Big job, looks like I gotta pull everything apart to get at the valve covers
