I have a cracked cylinder head on my '96 explorer 4.0 ohv.
I wonder if anyone can tell me if I can use the head from my '95 spare car, or is there any major differnces between these two engines that will prevent that swap ?

I believe the two engine has different engine system, EEC IV and EEC V, is that a problem ?

I just did the heads on my ex and the guys on here helped me out alot so i will pass on what i learned from them. Look on the Heads down by the spark plugs and you should see the number 95tm. As long as you see this number on the heads they will work fine. I used a set of heads off a 97 ex on my 95.
