I have a 96 Ford Explorer, Drove home last night parked the truck had no problems. Tried to start the truck this morning and the truck won't say anything. Battery is up, (even tried to jump the truck) post are good an tight and clean, had no problems out of the starter, I got all my lights on the dash, but when I trun the key nothing, I mean it won't say nothing. I get no clicking under the hood from the starter, nothing, does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be. Thanks, Mav.

This diagram may be helpful. Check the starter relay that is located on the fender.

My last starter that went did so without any warning. One minute it was fine, the next there was nothing. If the terminals are clean on the battery and starter and the relays are fine you need to pull the starter and have it checked...

You can "jump" the starter with it on but if you don't know what terminals to cross you shouldn't do it....

Make sure it's in Park and also try starting in neutral.
