96 Limited Battery Hold Down?

Had my 96 Limited state inspected, and the battery hold down was missing. Went online to find one, "Exact Fit" for this vehicle. (Wedge, with threaded bolt.) Looking at the battery tray, totally different setup... Model specific?

Thanks in advance for help with this.

Just drill the battery tray to take a generic clamp.

if you've got a salvage yard near you, just get one from there. I was lucky , in that the PO hadn't put the wedge/block and bolt back after he replaced the battery, but I found it just laying there. he said he hadn't put it back because it didn't fit. it didn't fit because he had it upside-down.

I'll bet many Fords used the same battery hold down. here's one from eBay for $7 with free shipping.:
