My 4wd is acting funny lately. I think I have the 4wd auto system. Positions are auto, 4x4 high, & low. Last week worked fine during hunting season. This week did not kick in while pulling out. Rear tires spun on wet roads. I unplugged and replugged the connection near the back of the transfer case (had to do this in the past). Went for a ride, everything worked fine. I put some die electric grease in that connection. Next morning 4WD & 4WD low lights were blinking on way to work and system did not kick in pulling out or when I attempt to engage it. After work, 4 high engaged just fine. No problem since. What do I need to check to keep this from happening again?
