Got a 97 Ford Explorer XLT with the 3 mode switch in it. After turkey season this spring, I realized my Heads Up Display unit went out. Didn't realize until last night when we got snow that my 4x4 won't engage either. No 4x4 light on panel when you turn it on, no anti-slip 4x4 anymore... Nothing.
I'm working under the assumption its an electrical issue, 4x4 did work this spring. Does anyone know where to begin? I checked the fuse, it's good. Going to start tearing into it tomorrow afternoon and was hoping this was a common problem, or that the loss of the HUD would raise a flag as to where this short/break/electrical issue might lie? Any help is greatly appreciated.
